Where do I begin?
Hello and welcome to my blog.
I'll be reviewing my experiences at Trance events across the UK that I visit and attend.
You Tubers would say Subscribe, or Vloggers to Like, Favorite, Comment, but I'm just going to ask that you follow me on Twitter: @TranceTunes4U or @FSOEBirmingham.
Let's hear that review then!
Ministry of Sound is renowned for it's superb sound system, intimate club vibe and boasts x4 rooms of dancing atmospheres. It was only fitting that John O'Callaghan and the Music First Agency chose this super-club to showcase the 'Total Spectrum' of all that is JOC.
John delved into his x3 alias, from Henrik Zuberstein, Joint Operations Centre and himself to show the world what he is all about. A 4hr set encompassing all that is Trance.
The club opened at 10:30pm, but I didn't make it in till Midnight, as I was catching up with friends in the nearest pub, The Rockingham Arms (Weatherspoons, or as raver's call it, Ministry's Pub).
I queued up, showed my ID and ticket, metal detectors and bag searches, before putting my belongings in the cloakroom and waiting for the main box to open.
FYI, The cloakroom is only £2, compared to some other clubs in the UK, which is very good.
'The Box', otherwise known as the main room, opened at 12:30am, and John opened with 'Elicit Response' under his alias, Henrik Zuberstein.

I quickly took a video of this, as 1) I've always wanted to hear this track on Ministry's speakers, and 2) I knew that we were set for a superb journey with JOC.
'Caves' followed, and a few other progressive tracks were played, before John took it up a notch and started playing a more uplifting set. This ID was fantastic! > ID
Tracks such as 'Say My Name', 'Games' 'Lies Cost Nothing' and 'Out of Nowhere' were played, which got the crowd excited, especially when the confetti was blasted out over the crowd.
Watch me!
John closed his 4hr journey with 'Big Sky', probably his most well-known track by fans.
A superb set. Thanks John!

04:30am
Next up was Cold Blue, who continued the trend of uplifting trance with his absolute bangers.
His 'Shadows' remix and his newest FSOE release 'Bliss' were played, as well as 'Once In Time'. He also played some new tracks of which I didn't record, but I did enjoy heavily.
--
05:15am
Shugz closed the night off with a powerful, hard stomping set, which shook the dance-floor!
Pounder tunes slammed out the speakers and everyone was dancing their socks off!
I particularly liked it when Shugz played 'The Prodigy - Warriors Dance' mashed with something else.
--
06:00am
The event comes to a close, and all those who remained till the end start to collect their belongings from the cloakroom. Eventually all make their way outside.
For me, I was freezing cold in my jacket, T-Shirt & jeans, but it was worth it! Headed back to my family's home, and I'm looking forward to seeing Above & Beyond at the O2 next Saturday!
Stick around for the review of that, out next week!
